A jib crane is a stationary or fixed crane that utilizes a cantilevered bridge (girder) supported from a stationary vertical support. A jib crane consists of a hoist attached to a rotating arm that functions as a manipulator. The arm can rotate 360 degrees and is mounted on a wall or attached to a floor-mounted support.^[1]
