Types of Hand Truck

  • A two-wheeled hand truck is a hand truck where the load is tilted during travel.
  • A dolly is a three or more wheeled hand truck with a flat platform on which, since it has no handles, the load is used for pushing.
  • A floor hand truck is a four or more wheeled hand truck with handles for pushing, hitching or pulling. It is sometimes refered to as a cart or manual platform truck.[1]
